"A beautiful family run hotel, the White Heather Hotel is beside the Kyleakin Harbour and boasts stunning views from all directions. The Hotel has 9 ensuite bedrooms, including a family room which I stayed in. It is spacious and well decorated with a wonderful ensuite. The hotel is very environmental friendly, using recycled paper and natural products wherever possible. There are two guest lounges, one with a television and a wide variety of books and the other with a radio and tourist leaflets. The dining room has a delightful view over the harbour. The breakfast menu has something for everyone, and only free range and fair trade products are used.
Within Kyleakin there is a chip shop, a newsagents, a few restraunts and pubs with good entertainment and a tourist shop. As Kyleakin is just over the bridge into Skye, Kyle of Lochalsh is only about five minutes away with plenty of shops, cafes, restraunts etc.
I think everyone should go to Skye at least once, and The White Heather Hotel is the perfect place to stay while there!"
