"Bowness and Windermere seemed a popular place for a lot of holiday makers. There is a large range of shops and returants to choose from.

Boat trips from Bowness were available and I highly recommend a trip to the Lakeside aquarium, the kids loved it.There is plenty to see and do, the walk around lake winderemere is a must. You'll find some really nice places to stop and have a picnic and the views are impressive too.

The cottage we stayed in-Little Ghyll-was amazing. And all the amenities you can think of were available.It was a lovely place to visit, we highly recommend you take a break here. It was a relaxing fun filled week and we got the chance to spend a lot of quality time together as a family."
