"The Bulls Head in Coalville is what you may call a traditional pub. Based at the top of a very steep hill in a village area of Coalville, Leicestershire, it is a bit of a nightmare to get to by walking, but there is plenty of space in the car park for your car.
When you walk in through the front door from the car park, you are automatically hit with a sense of traditionalism - there are brass horse shoes on the walls, and dated wallpaper. When I first walked in I half expected all of the locals to go silent and stare at me, but in fact they were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The decor is warm, and I dont think the place would be the same any other way.
All of the drinks served are all the ones you would expect really, especially the favourite pint of Bass! They are all reasonably priced as well, which is good. The Bulls Head serves snacks, from your traditional pork scratchings, to crisps, and some cobs (rolls) at the bar.
There is an outdoor seating area here, and it is kept very clean and smart. There are a few small climbing frames and swings to keep children entertained and it all looks very safe.
The toilets at The Bulls Head are also very clean and smart, the only thing I would say though is if you ever go, and use the ladies, watch out for the weighing scales in the corner! It always seems to make me jump because at first glance it looks like a person!!
I would definately reccommend The Bulls Head on Warren Hills Road, Coalville, if you are looking for a cheap, friendly, pint."
