When you are truly 'shopped out' (which you are sure to be) there are over 20 bars and restaurants to choose from. On a nice warm day, you can enjoy a meal al-fresco at one of the restaurants on the quayside. There are so many different restaurants to choose from wyou are spoilt for choice. I particulary love The Ha Ha bar and Cafe Rouge. The last time we visited Portsmouth, we stayed at The Holiday Inn Express which is right in the centre of Gunwharf. We had a fantastic night at Tiger Tiger which is a restaurant, bar and club. I love Gunwharf. Whether it is night or day, the atmosphere is buzzing. Have some really good fun at the Bowlplex too or catch a film if you have sometime. What ever you fancy, Gunwharf will have it for you. To drive to Gunwharf you need to take the M275 into Portsmouth . From this road follow the brown 'historic dockyard' signs to Gunwharf. There is an underground car park at Gunwharf itself but this can be expensive." | |
