"Considering its location, the punch and Judy, covent garden is quite an odd pub. Odd in the fact, it's not pretentious but rather, a relaxed backpacker type of place. Upstairs there's a balcony overlooking covent garden itself! This is what makes it a great place to hang out.

You can get a proper pint, (not silly little glasses) for not too expensive price (for london) and enjoy the beautiful people watching.

Many backpackers frequent the P&J I think mainly for it's location. There are of course many other pubs in the loccality, but I feel not as good as the punch and Judy.

Be warned though. Take this pub for what it is. The toilets are far from upper class (in fact a little dingy), but as I say, if you're looking to while away an hour or two in one of the best places in the UK, you can't go far wrong with the punch and Judy pub in London's covent Garden.
