"Forres is a really great place to go on holiday we try to take the kids once a year, there are a lot of nice walks, there are a lot of really nice beaches all around, they have the most beautiful sunken gardens where you can go for a nice picnic or to have your pick taken after your wedding, there aren't a lot of shops in forres but u will only be a few short miles from Inverness which can be reached by bus or by train, there are a lot of old castles to visit, there is a tollbooth and a lot of gardens for you to go and visit. When ever we visit I have always found the town to have a very olden time feel as most of the buildings are still being used even after a few hundred years, I would have say that if you are going to the highlands on a holiday then this is one place you should add to your list to visit"
