"A wonderful place for all the family to enjoy, for a place to stay there are many of choices to suit every pocket from staying in one of the hundred and eight hotels, or one of the many B&B's but if you would prefer you could always stay at one of the many travel inn's or lodges. But if staying in the centre of Glasgow isn't for you then why not stay in one of the greater Glasgow area towns such as Hamilton, East Kilbride, Uddingston or even Coatbridge. For places to eat you will never be short of a choice as Glasgow has a very large selection of places, 102 restaurants, 101 café and 100 take away places, my favourite place to go for a meal when in Glasgow is TGI-Fridays.
For things to do why not got bowling, to the cinema, ice skating or swimming, but if you would prefer something a little different then why not visit the transport museum or the science museum , take a look around one of the many art galleries, or go for a walk in one of the many country gardens great places to take the kids and have a nice picnic. But if you would prefer the more historical kind of holiday why not visit the David Livingston centre in Blantyre, or the lighthouse that is a Charles Rennie Mackintoah interpretation, the Mitchell Library, or the sail ship. And for something a bit more exhilarating why not go paint ball fighting always a good way to work out ones stress, or go to the go kart face course where you can drive like a maniac if you want to, and for a more relaxed time then visit one of the many heath spas. So if you ever find yourself in the area be sure to visit Glasgow" Was this recommendation useful?
