"The house of marbles proudly boasts to have the largest marble run in Britian and probably the world which was made by a Swiss (Alex Schmid) it is also proud to have the largest marble in Britian and the largest collection in the world. Not only are marbles childrens toys but they are collected by people worldwide of all ages. At the House of marble they will show you how they are made, as well as how the details are created. Also be amused by the sleeping bear who really snores! Sit down and relax in the licensed restaurants and cafe before exploring the pottery museum which has pieces dating back to the 1700's and watch glass being blow while you learn about the history of glass and board games. Go outside for a breath of fresh air and see the old pottery buildings which were built in the 18th century. Before leaving make sure you check out the gift shop for a wide selection of marbles and games, also pick up some factory seconds a very reasonable prices. Aswell as free entry parking is also free and very spacious. Once you have visited House of marble, marbles will never be taken for granted and throw aside again."
