Hamilton - A reviewHamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland Central & StirlingRecommendation added: 10/10/2006 21:27 By: jyb2 (YSUK rating +108) jyb2 has been thanked 0 times for this contribution
"One of the many towns that make up the greater Glasgow area or also known as Lanarkshire, they have a selection of places to say and eat. A rather large main street full of shop and 2 small shopping centres. They also have a retail park with larger sized shops. There are busses in and out of Hamilton every 2 minutes or so making it easy to visit if your not staying here. The one thing every one know about Hamilton is the racecourse never been my self but have sound it hard getting along the road why they are all leaving again, I'm weighting for the next family night to come along so that we can take the kids and all go as a family. They have a large cinema complex and a big swimming pool in the Hamilton water palace. Beside shopping, eating and drinking there isn't a lot of things to do in Hamilton its self unless these are the things you look for on your holiday, but remember you are only about 5 miles form Glasgow, east Kilbride and Coatbridge and between these towns you can go to a transport museum, the science museum, a selection of art galleries, a large selection of country walks. You can go go-karting, ice skating, ten pin bowling and even go skiing in the indoor slopes in Glasgow"
