Sunny Old EastbourneEastbourneSussex, England South East Review added: 29/01/2006 10:12 By: Me22 (£0.00 earned from reviews) Earn £££'s
"Eastbourne a town situated on the sunshine coast, right on the foot of the south downs. Everywhere you look there is something to do or something going on. I actually live in Eastbourne and would recommend it to anyone.
Eastbourne is situated at one end of the South Downs Way, stretching for 90 miles between Eastbourne and Winchester, taking in picturesque villages and stunning scenery. It is suitable for walkers, horse-riders and mountain bikes. It is also situated on The Sussex Heritage Coast which has some of finest examples of unprotected chalk cliffs including Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters. Beachy Head is the highest chalk sea cliff in the UK and stands at a whopping 530 feet high. During your stay why not visit Eastbourne's High street which includes the arndale centre which is one of the UK's first shopping centres. Also why not enjoy Eastbourne's night life with many pubs and bars and even the Atlantis nightclub on the pier. Eastbourne is the birth place of Banoffi Pie. Eastbourne offers everything for eating and drinking from 5 star dining to your traditional seaside fish and chips, with ice cream for pudding. You could also visit a local vineyard or go to a traditional country pub. Whatever the weather and it is usually sunny Eastbourne offers a wide range of activities and family fun. Why don't you come and visit?" | |
