"I was looking for somewhere to stay with my boyfriend last autumn, we wanted to go to Devon and chose Smytham from its website.

We definately made the right choice. We camped at the site in a wonderful walled garden, which, until our last night we had all to ourselves. The facilities were more than adaquate, modern and very clean loo's and showers...we even had a swim in the outdoor pool in mid September!!

The walks round the grounds and the local area are stunning. The people who run the place were so friendly to us and we will definately be going back this year.

Torrington is only a short drive away and we loved the place, it's so well loked after and has some fantastic shops and a really informative visitor centre. We found Smytham really easy to find from the main A30 road, and the drive through the countryside was a pleasure with many stops for photo's along the way!"
