Le-Beirut cafeLeedsYorkshire, England Yorkshire Review added: 13/11/2006 12:44 By: bob23 (£0.00 earned from reviews) Earn £££'s
"Le-Beirut cafe restaurant feels like you've just stepped in to a Middle Eastern coffee shop. Located on Kirkgate close to Leeds market with authentic Middle Eastern decoration and Arabic music it creates a relaxed mood you feel as though you could be abroad rather than in the heart of Leeds city centre. Anyone who has had a holiday in the middle east will be transported back there. The restaurant serves the traditional Sheesha pipes to smoke and has large choice of Lebanese dish including a veggie selection. Downstairs is kept for those who wish to dine in a smoke free atmosphere and upstairs both sheesha and food are served. The friendly staff make you feel welcome without been intrusive.
They also hold very popular belly dancing nights where they have a live belly dancer who does several dancing sets throughout the night to traditional and modern Arabic music. These nights are held every friday. This attracts many people and the evenings are always busy and it is a ticket only event, tickets can be booked in advance or on the night and are 25 pounds, included in the ticket price is a set meal the evening start at 9pm and go on until late and by then end of the night the party is in full swing with most people up dancing. If your looking for something a bit different to do on a Friday night I would highly recommend going along to one of these nights. Le-Beirut cafe is on Kirkgate, close to Leeds market and bus station the postcode is LS2 7DJ Contact details e-mail le-beirutcafe@hotmail.co.uk Phone number 01132340202 07776367666" | |
