"A highlight of a visit to wells. This costs nothing and the kids LOVE it! Just grab a crabbing line and cast your rod.
You can't miss the harbor when you get into Wells town centre. If you do, you may well end up in it!
There are plenty of shops about selling crabbing lines for a couple of quid.
There's even a pub just beside the harbor wall, so adults can enjoy a pint while the kids enjoy themselves. Beware though, this certainly isn't for the faint hearted. The harbour can be a sheer drop down some 15 feet when the tide's low.
