Getting caught in a storm!!

"Perhaps the title might put people off but please read on! We took a trip to Lake Windermere and decided to walk most of the way round and get the ferry back. Only trouble was the weather had different ideas! About three quarters of the way to the ferry the wind was getting up, the rain was lashing down and we realised that if we didnt get a move on we would miss the ferry back!! Luckily after jogging a good half a mile we could see the ferry docking, the lake had turned in to something that the Lockness monster wouldve been proud of! It was heaving and moving like there was something alive under the water. We stood, well hung on for dear life, on the deck of the ferry, watching the massive wash smashing in to the rocks,it was the most exhilarating experience of my life and one i would definatly definatly repeat and urge others to experience!"
