"If you live in or around Edinburgh, and want a free day out that is educational and fun, pop down to Gorgie City Farm, located along gorgie road just past the Hearts football stadium.
With on-site free parking, play park, cafe and lots of animals, your children will want to come back for more. Gorgie city farm is a piece of nature in the middle of the busy town.
With animals such as cows, pigs, ponies, chickens ducks and many more, plus there is also a Pet lodge, with rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats and birds.
Also if your going away on holiday for a few weeks, you can also leave your pets with the experienced staff knowing that they're going to be looked after properly.
And after walking round why not pop into the cafe for a cup of tea while the kids run wild in the play park.
So why not pop down for a few hours,it will get you out house without the crowds, and the kids will love it."
