"I went to Leysdown for a weeks holiday and at the time I was 18 just left college and thought at the time it was going to be so boring but in actual fact it was absolutely brilliant. We had the beach and arcades during the day and entertainment on the evening. Here is a few facts about Leysdown:-

Leysdown on the Isle of Sheppey is a seaside resort with award-winning beach and facilities.

There are lots of shops and amusements contrast with the nearby Coastal Park the former historical airfield and aircraft factory site.

A memorial to early aviators is to be found at Muswell Manor.

I would recommend Leysdown to anyone with young children or those who just want to get away for a bit of peace and quite.

Accommodation is not that expensive either that's when you shop at the right places they have chalets for rent as well as caravans up to a 6 bearth and if you want to go the whole hog they even rent out cottages."
