"Every Friday at 6pm there is the opportunity to roll out the old classics and have a good First Person Shooter match at Barton Computacentre.
It's usually pretty packed, so getting their early is almost essential.
Teams are calculated to be as fair as possible, and are occasionally re-worked to ensure everybody has a chance of winning.
The best bit is the prizes, if your team wins, then you get chocolate, as well as free time to use the computers.
At £3 for an hours worth of computer use, it's not too bad for an evening of fun and camaraderie. Added to the free time awarded, you can sometimes not pay for weeks!
All of the computers are top of the range gaming machines, so you don't have to worry about having the slow computer!
The majority of the players are kids and teenagers, but shooting the cocky ones (in the game of course!) usually settles them down.

There are hot drinks available from Barton Computacentre, and there is also a shop 2 doors down which has sandwiches, crisps etc. The Barton Computacentre is also walking distance from pubs and fish & chip shops, so you could make an evening of it!"
