"The Fenay bridge pub is a great place to take the family to eat and amazing value with its 2 4 1 deal.

The Fenay bridge is large pub decorated inside to look like an old mill there are all manner of interesting objects dotted around the place to look over while you are in there. It has a very olde worlde feel and is very relaxing place to eat or go for drinks.

Children are welcome and there is a special non smoking seating area for them as well as a kids menu. Highchairs and baby changing facilities are availible. When the weather permits there is a play area for them to use outside and a beer garden for the adults to relax in.

The two for one offer allows two adults to order two main courses and you'll get the cheaper meal free. This works out at great value as main courses start from a little as 5 pounds. I found the meals themselves to be of a reasonable standard it not the best food i'd ever tasted but was good value for money. Also there is a lovely selection of sweets for afters.

Sometimes during very busy time you may have to wait quite along time to get served, this is a popular pub locally and can get very busy during peak times. There is a large car park so getting parked is not usually a problem.

How to get there from the M62, exit at Junction 24 taking the A629 east towards Huddersfield. Join the A62 Ring Road and turn left onto the A629 towards Wakefield. Continue on the A629 through waterloo on the Penistone Road its on the right hand side and is easily spotted on the main road.
