"Life is the sort of museum kids beg to go to. It is a completely interactive science museum that encourages visitors to explore life in our universe.
We managed to fill about 4 hours here easily, but I rushed the kids through the gift shop for obvious reasons.
The favourite bits were easily the 3d motion ride, the dome and the theatre show. Because we went on Sunday during term time the museum was not too busy and we got to go twice on all of these.
After we'd seen everything we went back to a games section where there is a big dance mat pod, and a game that puts you on the screen playing different games like football and volleyball. The kids played here for ages and were totally worn out for the journey home.
The cafe at Life is excellent and extremely reasonable, which was unexpected! prices were similar to what you'd get in a supermarket cafe, but the food choices were more varied and healthy.
there is a pay and display car park nearby, but it's quite cheap, especially on a Sunday. We paid a £1.
Go and have a go, it's surprising how much you remember afterwards!
