"One of the largest indoor plant collections in Europe, the Aberdeen Winter Gardens are truly spectacular. In a series of interlinked glasshouses there are displays of plants from around the world, from the desert cacti house to the tropical rainforest. All the plants are healthy and well kept and there is also a restaurant and shop. Outside, the rose gardens are the most beautiful I have ever seen, although my visit was in late August and the roses are at their best in June and July.
It is well worth paying the gardens a visit. I live a short distance from the Eden Project but can truly say it cannot compare to the Aberdeen Winter Gardens and and added bonus is that admission to the Winter Gardens is free!"
