"One of the lesser known things to do in Corby! The Hotel Elizabeth Rockingham has been running murder mystery evenings for a few years now.
I booked this as an alternative 'work do'. There were about 15 of us, dressed up to the nines and descending on the hotel to figure out 'whodunnit'?!

The mystery unfolds as you eat, with characters dotted around the room as normal diners.

The first course was served and we were getting stuck in when a row broke out on the adjacent table. Several other characters joined in, then settled down to eat. One man went out and an ear piercing scream from the foyer told us we'd reached the 'murder' part of the evening! We all crowded out to observe the gruesome body and then at the detectives suggestion filed back to the dining room to continue eating!
The evening continued this way with new revelations and information boards around the room on which clues were pinned at regular intervals. Finally we had to fill in our form and say who it was and why. Then the detective revealed the truth and which had table won. It wasn't us, we were completely wrong, but the night was so much fun. Several of the louder, more confident members of our group went round interviewing the characters and trying to get clues out of them, other just sat back and watched. We had a real laugh though.

I can thoroughly recommend this as a night out with a difference.
