"Bigger than you think!
I arranged to meet a group of friends here for a walk, but the place is so big we never managed to find half of them!
The walk is based around a huge lake, Pitsford Water, and took us hours! There are shorter routes, it pays to study a map before you set out. We went on the 'hardened walkers or cyclists only' route and just about managed it. My Mum had to stop and rest about 4 times!
However, the park itself is very impressive and we shall definitely go back when the weather turns warmer. There's a picnic area and a sensory garden, and you can hire bikes or boules! Which I thought was really different. The children's play area is bigger than most and very modern. There were several pieces of play equipment which the kids hadn't seen before and they would have liked a lot longer that half an hour to play. There's a nice café and visitor centre too, although we ran out of time to see these properly. All in all I can highly recommend.
