"My husband and I recently spent a wonderful couple of weeks cruising the Cambridge Fens. The views are wonderful.
We saw kingfishers and herons, fed swans and patted cows that came into the water to drink. We also enjoyed the various towns and villages along the fens such as Cambridge - where we could moor in the centre of the City and St. Ives where the mooring is an easy walk to the centre of the town but is still very rural and peaceful.
I would recommend anyone to try this way of holidaying, but hope not too many people do as I like the peacefulness."
