A Bank Holiday in Saundersfoot.SaundersfootPembrokeshire, Wales Mid Review added: 28/05/2007 17:34 By: Rincewind (£0.00 earned from reviews) Earn £££'s
"Its been years since we were in Wales and for the bank holiday, we went back, to Saundersfoot, a lovely harbour town on the Pembrokeshire coast.
We stayed at St Brides hotel, friendly and welcoming, on the cliffs over looking the town. After a tasty dinner in the Harbour Hideaway, we headed out to Colby Woodland, set in a secluded valley these gardens owned by the National Trust are a must see, the woodland walk was very peaceful. On Sunday, ball games on the clean beach was followed by me carefully avoiding a trip around the shops which my better half loved, by me taking the "little uns" to the arcade, much fun was had by all. The shops I'm told were well priced with plenty to see, and buy. After a second night in a very nice room, and a breakfast fit for a king, it was all too soon to pack and head for home, just enough time for a walk around the harbour and an Ice cream, and to book for a week in the summer, so much more to see and so much more relaxing to do, two days is not enough." | |
