"Tthis is awsome and free - be warned can be expensive if you want to try ALL the rides but there is so much more to it than that. The Admiral Cardiff Big Weekend provides the traditional festival finale with three days of big names on the Memory Lane stage, and one of Europe's largest funfairs in the grand setting of the city's Civic Centre making up the UK's biggest FREE outdoor festival. Last years line up of FREE bands included Cerys Matthews (of catatonia fame), The Alarm, Katrina and the Waves, The Selecter , Kubb, The Automatic, The Automatic, Paul Young and the stereo mc's, loads to keep both adults and kids amused.
Mins from city centre so if you don't want to pay £2 for a hotdog - sainsbury's, kfc,macd all just 2 min walk away!"
