"Catering for both caravans and tents, the Moon And Sixpence site, just outside Ipswich, is quiet, extremely well resourced and a generally nice place to stay. The pitches are a generous size and the toilet and shower block has to be seen to be believed. Fantastic shower rooms and beautifully tiled and kitted out toilets.
There's a man-made lake onsite with an artificial beach, carefully ploughed by tractor every morning - take that into consideration when you're deciding where to pitch; it can be rather loud at six in the morning!
Prices are a little steep, but then you pay for what you get. This isn't a cheap, cut-price campsite, and they do like noise kept to a minimum. An excellent site all-round, however, and one we've used more than once."
