The Still and West pub, Old PortsmouthStill and WestPubs in/near Portsmouth, Hampshire, England South East View Map Review added: 25/06/2007 19:33 By: AnnaP (£0.00 earned from reviews) Earn £££'s
"This pub is located in pretty Old Portsmotuh and situated at the mouth of the harbour it has fantastic views of the Harbour entrance from the windows and outdoor seating area and of the Spinaker Tower.
The harbour is busy with ferrys going to and from France and the Isle of Wight and they literally sail right past you! The pub itself consists of a lounge bar, a family room, and a restaurant upstairs, and has a real pub feel to it. Due to the views I imagine it is quite a touristy pub. Unsurprisingly the theme inside is nautical with unique murals on the ceiling. FOOD AND DRINK WISE, it offers a decent range of Fullers beers. There is a restaurant upstairs but we did not dine there (looked good though) as it renowned for serving fish and chips in the wrapper - very tasty!" | |
