"This is a fantastic tour if you are looking for a different experience. There are several schedule times but the best one has to be the one beginning at 10.30pm at Mercat Cross where the cloaked guide builds up the atmosphere and tells Ghost Stories about this part of the town. Next you move onto the underground vaults which has been called "Possibly the most hanuted place in Britian". The cloaked guide will continue to tell you about the ghosts that are rumoured to be staying in these vaults. Then its onto the Graveyard and by this time it is 11.30pm and the guide will tell you even more scary ghost stories about Edinburghs past on the way... which apparantly are all true! Then you finally finish up at the Graveyard at 12.00 Midnight!!! There are several other tours that Mercat provide but this is the one that I have personally been on. I will definetly be going back to experience some more. You are free to take pictures all the way but unfortunately i was so scared the whole way that I daren't dig into my bag and start fiddling with my camera, but i did manage to take one at the end while in the Graveyeard and I have cricled what could possibly be a ghost.... you decide!"
