"well if shopping is your thing then this is the place for you, the first time I went I walked from one end to the other with out going into a single shop or going doing one of the side centre and it took me 2 hours to do just that, they have over 200 shops and also a large selection of places to eat, also in the shopping centre they have an ice rink, a large library and a multi screen cinema. We go on a regular basic and find that you never have to go anywhere else you can find any thing and everything you want under this one roof. One of the things I like the most is that they have kiddie cabs that you can rent out by the hour so that the kids are kept amused I always have a fear of losing one of them when we are out as shopping centres are so big that u know if you accidentally let go of there hand they will be gone, so you just put them in the kiddie cab lock the door and they can pretend to steer and talk on the toy mobile that are in the car, there is even a little basket on the back and handles for your shopping to go on.
The shopping centre is open Monday, Tuesday, wedensday,Friday and Saturday from 9am – 6pm. Wednesday from 9am – 8pm and Sunday from 11am – 5pm. These times may vary on bank and public holidays and tends to stay open late over Christmas for all those who can't get there shopping done during the day. During holidays they have things on for you and the children to take part in like this summer Noddy and big ears will be visiting, Scooby doo, the Simpson, Dora the explorer, and also the tweenies will be visiting the centre for the younger children. For the slightly older children there is the Wednesday workshops where they can ceramic paining and t-shirt designing, and on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd there is the sorcerer's workshop to celebrate the launch of the new Harry potter book. And that is just during the summer holidays at Christmas the have a large active Santa's grotto where the little ones can visit Santa get there pictures taken and also get a gift to take home with them. They also have a Carlton bingo hall. Some of the shops they have here are Anne summers Argos Barratts British home stores Boots The Celtic store Clarks D2 Disney store Some of the place where you can eat here are KFC Millies cookies McDonalds Pizza hut Subway O'Briens Greggs Americana So really what more could you want, so next time your in the area make sure that you take some time out from what your doing and visit this place you will not be disappointed." | |
