"Beverley is a lovely market town, inbetween York and hull.a market is held twice a week. Its also a good place to shop, with a large m and s, boots woolies, tesco ,etc ,and lots of fashion shops for some great retail therapy! There are plenty of pubs and excellent cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. We even have a Minster ,and you can hear the bells chiming every Sunday morning. We have lots of festivals during the year ,which are held in the market square-eg .food festival ,buskers festival ,and in December, a xmas festival complete with father xmas arriving on a sleigh pulled by reindeer! Beverley also has a race-course, and there are several meetings during the season .you cant beat a day out at the races! Especially if you back a winner! Beverley has some thing for everyone, its a very friendly town, and there will be a warm welcome for everyone."
