"On a recent day trip to Arundel, I visited the Pappardelle Ristorante Italiano for lunch with friends and my 6-week old.

We could have gone to a well know chain of pizza restaurant but decided to try something new, and were we glad we did? Yes we were!

Pappardelle Ristorante Italiano is a really charming and intimate restaurant with excellent pizza and pasta and the customer services was very good too.
Situated on the High Street, the restaurant is on the first floor so be careful not to miss the entrance off the street.

I had a fairly large pram and access is only by the stairs but we managed to pull it up the stairs fairly easily.

The staff were welcoming and giving us space to choose our order. The length of the menu was just right; not too much for an indecisive Librian like I, but enough choices to tickle your taste buds. As well as Pasta, they offer Pizza and a selection of main courses.

Some complimentary tasty sun-dried tomato bread with proper Italian butter was provided and so we went straight for a main course. I had a Scopollo pizza consisting of anchovies, black olives and spinach on a tasty tomato sauce, and which I would thoroughly recommend. My friends had the pasta carbonara and four cheeses pizza, which they really enjoyed too. These dishes were priced at around £7.50-8.00 each.
