"Yateholme reservoir a source of Yorkshire water. It's a fantastic reservoir located at the back of a village named Holme. The walk starts of on a enclosed small embankment, with fantastic views across another small reservoir, you head round you go through a small bunch of undergrowth. Then you tackle a moderate climb through ferns and other tough plants you have to fight you way through. Then your out in the open with amazing views of the reservoir.
Then you proceed down a small drop over a stream, then up a very steep climb which can be tough. Then you follow through another bunch of undergrowth passed a house with peacocks. Lots of grouse can be found in the undergrowth so please keep your dog on your lead as your proceed through here.
It's a very peaceful walk and many fishermen have joined the angling club round here and are fishing. It's a stunning reservoir walk which can be quite challenging at times. It's not recommended if you're disabled, quite old. You need to be quite fit it's a tough walk.
