"The welcome we received was amazing. Our hosts were very helpful, informative and friendly. The choice of breakfast was superb, with choices of fresh fruit and cereal, as well as a Scottish fry up. As you sit at breakfast, you look out over the stunning scenery that is Loch Lomond. The house has free off road parking, for three cars. A ten minute walk from the village of Luss, this is perfect location for those who want some quiet in their lives, or for walkers and climbers alike. Far enough away from towns and cities to gain peace and quiet, but also near enough if you want to visit them. Around twenty minutes drive from the Trossachs and Callendar etc. in one direction, and about the same in the other direction to all that Glasgow has to offer, i.e. free museums and superb architecture. In between these two points, you have Balloch. From here you can board the Maid of the Loch for a relaxing and informative cruise of the Loch. Also within about forty five minutes drive, on good roads, you have a choice of either Stirling Castle, which is steeped in history, or the world famous Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, and of course all the wonderful shops in and around the Royal mile. Heading in the other direction, you can drive for around thirty minutes to reach places like Fort William and Oban, which is of course the gateway to the Scottish Islands. So from the amazing village B.& B. in Luss the world, or at least the west side of Scotland is your oyster"
