"This delightful pub is situated on the main road passing through chapel Allerton which is popular going out area in Leeds.
The pub has seating areas and both the front and the rear of pub which now seem to be very popular with smokers who seem to be out there come rain or shine. The front looks on the car park and main road the rear looks onto a bowling green. The pub although it serves food does not allow children so if you want a night off from your little angels this is good place to go as your be hassled by other peoples little ones. The pubs decoration has a very homely feel. It has several different seating areas which feel more like a living room than a pub with comfy sofa, smart soft furnishings and modern pictures. It gives a very relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were really friendly and the service was quick. The menu has many of the traditional dishes you would expect to find severed in any pub with the classic mix grill and scampi and chips. I was surprised when our meals arrived they were very well presented, more what you would expect from a fancy london resturant not a pub in Yorkshire. The meals we had were both lovely and the bill with drinks for two was less than 20 pounds which I felt was good value for money considering the high standard of the food.
