"The Montagu Arms Hotel in Beaulieu is a top quality hotel. I would definitely stay there again if I wanted a luxury short break. We stayed in a gorgeous room with a four poster bed. At around £100 pounds a night for the two of us, it wasn't cheap, but it's a luxury hotel with lovely surroundings, lots of character and a beautiful garden.

The Montagu Arms Hotel is located in the picturesque village of Beaulieu in the heart of the glorious scenery of the New Forest. It's not far from junction 1 of the M27 and the motoring experience couldn't be more different as driving to the village you pass wild horses grazing by the side of the road! This is certainly something I had never seen before.

The hotel is located right by the famous National Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens and Bucklers Hard. It's also easy to explore the South Coast and places like Winchester, Salisbury, Bournemouth and Portsmouth.

The food is very good and the restaurant is plushly decorated with views across the beautiful terraced gardens. The restaurant was apparently awarded two AA Rosette and was voted Hampshire Restaurant 2007 by Which? Good Foods Guide. The garden even has a croquet lawn, how English!"
