"5 of us went to newquay for a weekend July '04 and it was great. We stayed in a quite nice b&b which was £40 a room. Although we were a 15 minute walk from the town centre it didnt matter as there are some great pubs and restaurants along the way.
The Beaches are stunning and go on for miles.

There is a brilliant australian bar at the far end of the town which has massive windows overlooking the sand and sea.
The people are mostly friendly and the shops are good especially for souvenirs."
