"Cool cats is West Yorkshire largest indoor play centre. It is located in a old warehouse just outside Leeds city centre and 17,000 sq ft. It claims to be the coolest place to play and I totally have to agree. It would of been the kind of place I'd of dreamt of playing as kid but there was just nothing like it when I was little.
Cool cats has a huge 3 storey play frame for the old kids which includes a 4 lane funky astra slide, traverse wall and ball pools and a lot more. My nephew went on the climbing frame and wasn't seen again for another 30 mins until he wanted refreshments and then off he went again. A great place for you to relax and get some peace from your kids knowing they having great fun in a safe enviroment.
For smaller children under 5 there is also plenty to keep them amused with more ball pools a mini car track and a little tikes village which my son adores.
There is also a giant sandpit with a beach theme and my son enjoying sitting in it and eating sand.
There is cafe which serves a large selection of snacks and a children's menu which has the usual fish fingers, burgers chips and beans. Not the most healthy food but sandwiches boxes are avaiable too as a healthier alternative but this is the kind of place to take your kids for a treat so a little junk food now again wont harm. Its a fairly reasonable priced menu which i felt offer pretty good value for money. There are plenty of high chairs around for smaller kids.

Its open 7 days a week from 9.30am-6.30pm mon-thurs, fri 9am-7pm, Sat 9am-7pm and sunday 10am-6pm

does anyone know whats happening with this place now?? back open, for sale etc???

I understand Cool Cats was closed due to the owners not paying their bills as required and leaving a trail of debt on unsuspecting suppliers.
In addition I believe a number of families lost a lot of money paying deposits for parties that Cool Cats never carried out.

I would like to hold a birthday party for my soon to be 7 year old daughter and would possibly like it to be a fancy dress themed party. Could you tell me the cost of this, what the price includes and what is the minimum number of persons that she could invite.

Following an article in YEP this evening regarding closure of your premises recently. I wonder if you could confirm whether the centre is likly to be open in the near future and in particular for my daugther's birthday party on 9th December.

Thank you Bob for this review, my name is Louise and I am the owner of Cool Cats. I am very happy that you found our centre a great experience. We welcome feed back positive and negative, it is the only way we can improve and move forward. We have loads of great activities coming up, for halloween and Christmas as well as our 1st birthday celebrations. However if I can just point out that we strive to offer health products as well as the prdictable options as you rightly say. The menu includes juacet potatoes, salads, and we have just intoduced daily specials sor childrena and adults, these include warming favourites such as lasagnes, cottage pies etc all home made and cooked using only freshly prepared ingredients.
