"We recently went for a trip to London and our one major thing that we were doing was going to see Phantom of The Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre. I was extremely excited as this is my favourite musical in the world and the expectations were running high. Plus I had convinced my fiancé to come to the theatre although he didn't really want to come so it really did have to be good.

Ok so the address of the theatre is as follows;

In terms of location, her majesty's theatre is fantastic. In the centre of London and very close to Covent Garden so you could do what we did and spend the day shopping, then eat in Covent Garden and then go to the theatre. I do think it is a little hard to find but we just asked some people and they pointed us in the right direction which was very nice of them.

The theatre is huge and from the outside it has a massive sign which you can't really miss. Then it has signs everywhere with the phantom of the opera on them as this show has been playing at this theatre for years so it is famous for it now. What I am trying to say is that you can't really miss it at all which for us being late like we were it was a very good thing.

You walk into the theatre and it just looks lovely. The staff there are great and there are plenty of them to ask questions and get directed to where you need to go for your seats. Then there is a small area where you can get some souvenirs such as the must have programme. Then of course as with every theatre there is a bar area so you can get some pre-theatre drinks which is nice. The prices for these were average compared to what they are in London city centre.

Everywhere is clean and I even took a trip to the toilets to see what they are like and they were lovely. Ok so taking our seats for the actual show was great and they were very good considering we were quite by the back. I get the feeling that all of the seats are quite good there which was nice to know.

The actual show was fantastic. The orchestra was absolutely brilliant and the stage was massive with spectacular changes that made you get completely into the story throughout the show.

All of the actors were fantastic and even looked like how I imagined the characters would look which was a little strange. They had brilliant voices and the sound carried throughout the theatre which was brilliant. They changed the sets very well and every scene was played flawlessly.

So you know when you go to the theatre you want the story played well so you can imagine what it is like to be in the story and also you want the songs to be sang clearly so you can hear them and the music in this show to be perfect. I have to say that all of this was spot on and I was so pleased that we had gone.

The interval was nice as they had drinks and ice-cream being sold and there was enough time for me to pop back into the foyer to get a programme as being late I didn't have time at the beginning.

In short everything was perfect and I don't think there could have been one person that didn't enjoy the show.

I usually dread walking out of the theatre but staff was there to make sure everything went smoothly. I have to say that this theatre made sure you loved the show and the actual show was just wonderful. It even made my fiancé want to go back to the theatre next year so I was extremely pleased.

Well worth a visit.
