"This is a great place if your looking for amazing value for money. The Oriental buffet is an eat as much as you like buffet with lunch time prices starting at 5.50 for adults going up to 9.50 on a Saturday evening for their grand buffet.
The restaurant itself is bright and clean and always very busy. Its not the ideal place if your wanting to relax as people are up and down all the time getting there food but it is good if your looking for quality food at great prices. The staff are very welcoming and kept giving my son lots of attention. There is plenty of room for push chairs and they have lots of high chairs too.
The only thing i do have to have a little moan about is charging my 14 month old son 3.25 to eat when he merely picked at a few items a throw the rest on the floor. Also he had to be bought bottled water as they do not serve tap water so be warned if taking little ones who are picky you might not get the best value for money.
The selection of dishes is huge though there should be something for everyone. Starters include tonnes of salad items along with a choice of soups and prawn crackers. The main courses have two types of rice, chips, potato hashes, all kinds of noddles, chow main and various meats and vegetables in a variety of sauces. plenty veg dishes and deep fried items like onion rings and mushroom. The desserts include jelly, ice cream fruits and cakes. I can't imagine anyone not been able to find something they would like.
The down side I guess is having to keep getting up to collect your food. We usual go 1 at time so someone can keep an eye on valuables and coat. Remember it is in the centre of a large city and you can never bee too careful.
The No.1 Oriental buffet is located next to Leeds market in the heart of the city. Roughly 10 Min's walk from the train station or 1 minute walk from the bus station. There is a NCP car park close by but beware these are pricey as is on street parking which is 80p for 20 minutes.
