"This wonderful city farm is a great way of getting your little ones introduced to farm animals. Open seven days week it is a bargain at 1 pound for adults and 50p for kids with free parking its a cheap way to entertain your kids for half a day. The farm has a lovely selection of animals including sheep, pigs, goats ,chickens, donkeys as well as smaller animals like genuine pigs, rabbits and hares. I saw the beautiful bunny I wanted to take home and my son was totally engrossed watching the chickens. He had a great day and lots of kids seemed to be really enjoying themselves, kids just seem to adore animals. There were lots of toddlers around when we went midweek. There is a small cafe which had both indoor and outdoor seating and farm shop as well as disabled toilet facilities and baby changing. Also there is a delightful small playground for under 12's hidden among the trees. Is hard to believe your just 10 minutes drive from Leeds city centre is certainly feels and smells more rural. Word of warning if your not familar with farms they do tend to be a wee bit smelly. I have forgotten after to being in the city so long.
