"I recently had the utmost pleasure of attending a friends wedding at Crockwell Farm in Crockwell, Northamptonshire.
In the beautiful South Northamptonshire countryside set against a backdrop of idyllic rolling hills and rural landscape, Crockwell Farm has to be the most amazing venue I have experienced.
Crockwell Farm is a working farm and having never attended such a venue for a wedding, I was a quite unsure of what to expect. Driving down windy country roads into the heart of the countryside (you feel a million miles from urban and commercial life) we soon arrived at Crockwell Farm. Upon first glance there is large stone traditional Farmhouse, converted barns and attractive landscaped gardens. What makes this so special is that this idyllic scene is mixed with the naturalness of a working farm, which really adds to the atmosphere.
The wedding ceremony took place in a converted barn and the main wedding reception was held in a marquee which was attached to the farm buildings. Both venue
The whole experience at Crockwell Farm was amazing with dedicated staff who added the personal touch with excellent service, delicious food and stunning scenery.
I also had the pleasure of sampling the bed and breakfast accommodation which was a charming self contained cottage with two bedrooms. The cottage overlooked the rolling hills, had a well appointed kitchen and lounge area. The accommodation was decorated and furnished in a traditional farmhouse country style. My friends were staying in the accommodation and were very impressed and particularly delighted with the service with homemade snacks left in the fridge by yhe owners.
Crockwell Farm also caters for conferences and offers bed and breakfast accommodation in 7 rooms. I would certainly recommend Crockwell Farm to anybody who is looking for a wedding or conference in a unique destination and superb venue where you are pretty much guaranteed to have a very memorable experience.
Crockwell Farm is close to the Oxfordshire and Warwickshire borders and is easily accessible from both the M40 and the M1 motorways."
