"A country cabin in searles hunstanton.
Is it a caravan? Is it a lodge? I dont know but all I know is its a great place to spend a week. Im not one to stay in caravans so when my husband suggested having a summer midweek in Norfolk, I said "yes as long as you find something nice". He read out the reviews and spec of places on this website and as we're so happy with our holiday we thought it only right that we'd add our own contribution.
He set about finding the best accommodation for the money. For the tow of us and three children and he came up tops!!! I've never imagined that you could say in something so fitted out with mod cons.
The country cabin cost about £700 but this was around peak season. For you you get high quality accommodation, passes for the club with nightly entertainment, swimming pools, kids club etc. Considering a country lodge comfortably sleeps 6, to me this is a bargain. Try comparing that to a hotel.
The accommodation:
A country cabin doesn't look all that from the outside. It's painted a grey colour. It has a nice decking area, with a solid wooden table and two benches. Enter through the patio doors into the lovely living space. On your right you have a fantastic kitchen with microwave loads of cupboard space and the icing on the cake - a huge american style fridge with ice-maker. Yep, cold water and ice on tap 24/7!!!
In the living room you have a u shaped seating area, with a fairly large LCD TV - Yep LCD! DVD player and a stereo finish off this area nicely. There's two twin rooms both with wardrobe space. On the left you have a shower room / toilet. At the other end you have mum and dads double room with en-suite shower and walk in wardrobe. On the wall is another lcd tv!
Both TV's have freeview so there's plenty for the kids to watch if the weathers bad.
Everything about Searles is really well done. But the accommodation is top notch. I would thoroughly recommend.
