"5 of us went to newquay for a weekend July '04 and it was great. We stayed in a very nice b&b which was £40 a room. We were only a 15 minute walk from the town centre and the walk was worth it, as there are some great pubs and restaurants along the way.

The Beaches are stunning and go on for miles. it is very nice to walk down the seafront in the evenings!

There is a brilliant australian bar at the far end of the town which has massive windows overlooking the sand and sea. (absolutely fantastic views!).

The people are very friendly and cheerful and the shops are good especially for souvenirs."
