"Now I am always in the Mailbox in Birmingham and I love it there. The shops are way too expensive though so I can never afford to buy anything in there but the real reason I go is for the wonderful bars and restaurants. Bar room bar is one of those and it is great in there so here is why.

The mailbox is easy to get too by car as there is a huge car park you can park in and also by public transport as you get to Birmingham via the fantastic train and bus links and then you are a five minute walk away from the Mailbox. Bar room bar is at the back by all of the bars and restaurants.

You walk in and there is a very good atmosphere as music is playing and there are fantastic booths situated alongside the walls which believe me are very comfortable and you do feel like you are in another era. Then there are lovely wooden tables and chairs to sit on.

The bar is right in front of you and is very well stocked so you should find any drink you are after. The prices are reasonable with a lemonade being £1.60 last time I had one and a glass of wine at about £3.50 so not too bad at all. The staff are very friendly and will bring your drinks to your table and take your orders from there if you want them to. The bar looks cool with glasses hanging upside down and lots of drinks there!!!

So you can also eat here and the best thing in my opinion is the pizzas. They are about £4.50 for a one person portion and they are delicious. As a lunch time treat in the week it is great! Then you can get sandwiches for about £3 which are lovely too and other hot meals at about £6 each so the prices are very good considering the service is friendly and there are plenty of members of staff about to ask anything.

The music is low enough so you can hear what everybody is saying and you don't have to shout and I think bar room bar is a nice place to go at any time of the day. I have been for lunch, after work for a quick drink and in the evening and every time I have enjoyed it a lot.

Being in the mailbox it has a great atmosphere and I think this is what has made it so popular.
