"I am a big fan of subway stores the one I use most is on New Briggate its really great location as my bus sets off from near by but to be honest in Leeds you don't have to travel far before you find a subway store, you can also locate your nearest store on their website http://www.subway.co.uk/storefinder.asp
I love sandwiches so much but this place is simply sandwich heaven as you get to pick exactly how you would like your sandwich. All the sandwich ingredients are displayed out on a deli so you can see exactly what your getting. Part of the appeal of subway is how much fun it watching the staff create your masterpiece of a sandwich right in front of your eyes.
First there is a choice of four different breads including white and wholemeal in two different size 6 inch and foot long if your feeling really greedy or have a friend you can agree with on a choice of filling.
The your choice of filling they offer a huge selection which includes chicken, meatballs, steak to name a few. The steak and cheese happens to be a personal favorite of mine.
Then you can chose to have it hot or toasted. Which ever way I find them yummy.
Next select the salad you want on top this includes tomatoes, cucumber olives you can select as many or as few items as you like.
Then lastly to finish off your perfect sandwich they have a choice of sauces like mayo and my favourite southwest sauce which is kind of a spicy mayo which finishes off the steak and cheese perfectly.
Price start from 1.99 for the sub of day. They also have meal deals which include a drink and a cookie or crisps. I can highly recommend the m&m cookies they are divine.
Also subway have a breakfast menu for you early risers who want a bite to eat on the way to work. I think currently the bacon and eggs breakfash sub a mere 99p what a bargin.
Usually seating is avaible in stores as well as a toilet. The stores are alway bright and clean and open from early till late so even if you get the munchies after a night out you can calm your sandwich craving. I would highly recommend giving subway a try if you enjoy fresh healthy food at a reasonable price.
