"A short walk you can half way walk around the reservoir takes around 30 mins. Its all concreted and is a very good walk. Most people don't know about this reservoir its hidden away at the back of holmfirth.

If you look down your looking on a very small village with a couple of houses its very weird and they have massive pilons in the village but its so small. Sailors often come here on sundays and go for a bit of a sail they have some kind of sailing club. They even have toilets at this reservoir in case your just so desperate, how cool is that?

My dog is a hunter dog and theres alot of pheasants in this area so the dog loves it. Theres also loads of flat stones at the edge of the reservoir me and my dad skim them and my best skim is 8 bounces from the water. It's ace."
