"Having stayed at Dawlish for many years I can say that it is a lovely town with many gift shops etc to explore. It has a river running through the middle with the famous Black Swan.
It has many breeds of duck and geese and even an area that is for breeding them. Also offering a lovely walk by the river and areas to buy food for the birds.It is of real interest to not only young children but adults alike. They also have crazy golf in the summer season and things going on on the green like bowls. The restaurants are very quaint and always offer a varied selection of food including the famous Cream Tea.

The sea front offers a place to sit and eat the local fish and chips. The ideal family location for fun as you don't need to travel far to get to certain places for entertainment and play.

A very idyllic town, ideal for old and young alike. Not too crowded and very pretty. Lots of flower displays and fairy lights. Go on, make it your base camp and travel, enjoy, relax or whatever you want to do."
