"Donkey rides at Scarborough on South bay beach. I still have the photographs from my first donkey ride on scarborough beach over 25 years ago and its great that this traditionally seaside activity is still available.

The donkeys take children for short trips along the beach they work in groups of about 6 and they all their names on their harnesses. My son selected to ride on William who was the cutest of the bunch but they all they all looked sweet. All the donkeys were well behaved and are clearly used been around children all the time. The donkeys keepers were great too they stopped during the ride to allow me to take photograph and made sure the donkeys behaved.
My son adored going along the sand on the donkey just as I had done all those years ago. The donkey rides are great fun for kids I highly recommend them if your taking a trip to Scarborough over the summer.
