"Located in the most secluded and easily-overlooked location, this fine restaurant is warm, cosy and very secluded. With only room for 25 covers and a kitchen that couldn't swing a cat, it is obvious this family run haven is oozing with quality.

Set underneath another restaurant, surviving on just word of mouth, the Exectutive provides quality food with pocket healthy prices.

With a wide array of beverages, including brandy's galore (I was in my element), you are never stuck for what to drink. Lead crystal glasses adorn the bar for whichever tipple you fancy.

Friendly staff are on hand to assist with taking orders and can give recommendations on what specials are on.

For starters I had the king prawn exectutive - delicious - King prawns the size of ones thumb in a celery and white wine with peppercorn sauce. This is to die for! My partner opted for fan of melon with coulis - again, very good indeed, if a little too much of it.

Mains - we both decided on fillet steak. Me being me, decided on a blue steak with blue cheese sauce. A huge steak smothered my plate for just £18.95! My partner also found her steak too big but hey, cant complain about that. Even the salad is presented beautifully and with great care and attention.

Dessert! Raspberry creme brulee - How can I put this - its a raspberry and cinnammon-gasm. Presented wonderfully and with such intense flavours. Hard to beat! My lady was conservative and had Vanilla ice cream. I thought "how boring", but having had a small taste, it was obvius this was hand made and contained quality produce.

Overall, a definate 9/10 - Price for 2 is around £70 - hardly big money for the quality provided here. Will surely re-visit soon! Bon apetite!
