"Wilmslow Road, Rusholme. If visiting Manchester and your looking for food I would suggest putting the curry mile as its known locally at the top of your list. This is not a restaurant but Wilmslow Road a roughly mile long stretch of restaurants offering exotic foods from around the world. It is located roughly 2 miles out from Manchester city centre. The place has real buzz about it. Its very lively and opens till late. All the flashing neon lights from the takeaways and restaurants resembles Blackpool and it illuminations at night. The restaurant managers often try to entice you in from the street with special offers as there's so much choice they will try anything to draw in customers. The main types of cuisine on offer are Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Perisan as well as others with most serving Halah meat. There something to suit all tastes a budgets. It is such a busy area expect to hit congestion if your driving and parking tends to be free on the surrounding streets"
